'Photographing Galaxies:  My Learning Journey'

by Jane Clark

followed by Annual General Meeting

Jane Clark is in the finishing stages of preparing the manuscript of her fourth astronomy book, which is about how to photograph galaxies from light polluted skies.  For two years, she floundered massively whilst trying and failing to produce beautiful photographs of galaxies.  At one point, the penny dropped, and she worked out how to do it.  Jane will take you through her learning journey, and show how to deal with light pollution without using filters;  and how to discover for yourself the amazing galaxies from which our universe is built.
